Mission & Vision
There’s a lack of widely-accepted best practices for treatment of wounds that impacts all levels of practitioners. Available information is fragmented, product oriented, or at a too high level, for practical guidance. Our goal is to provide a single site of peer-reviewed, step-by-step examples of best treatment of most wounds and to give all wound care practitioners access to this site. We also want to make the information easily accessible with a cell phone or tablet, concise, practical, up to date, and free of charge.</>
We have invited the best wound care experts from across the globe to share articles and update these best practices on an ongoing basis. We aim to erode barriers in care of wounds, level the playing field and ensure that all patients have equal access to the best level of possible treatment.
